International Soccer Archive - Player Profiles - Tierry Henry (Arsenal & France)
Since moving from Juventus to Arsenal for £10.5m in 1999, Henry has been converted from a left sided midfielder to the best strikers playing today. He combines sublime skill on the ball, a breathtaking turn of pace and devastating finishing to rattle in the goals for both club and country. Henry was France's top scorer in both the victorious campaigns at World Cup 98 and Euro 2000. Should he emulate that success again in Portugal, he will surely go one better than coming second in both World and European Player of the Year polls in 2003. Career Record Monaco France (56 / 25) |
